Pure Acetone removes Genesis paints after baking.
If your baby isn't just how you want them to be, all is not lost.
Pure acetone will remove all traces of paint!
Only use the Acetone in a well-ventilated area, with the air stream flowing away you.
Also, don't leave it on the vinyl for long. Keep a bowl of warm water nearby, and immediately
wash the vinyl after you are finished, but if you takes you more than a few minutes to take the paint off,
you may want to wash the head before you are finished and again when the job is completed.
You can however, use fingernail polish remover for creating "barely there" eyebrows and veins.

Always take proper precautions with any chemicals you are using, including nail polish remover.

Colour Wheel

The colour wheel is ideal for showing you what colour or colours you need to mix in order to achieve
the desired effect. Suppose that your blush mix looks too orange instead of red. What should
you do? Should you throw it away or can you fix it? With the colour wheel you can fix it.
Simply turn the wheel to see the colour that you want changed - in this case orange-red. Then
look at the opposite side of the colour wheel and you will see what paint colour to add to get rid
of the orangey look. Use the colour wheel for any paint mix questions that you may have.

Your baby's finger nails should not look wet but should still have a nice
satin shine. It's easy to add that life-like satin shine with Genesis Glazing Gel.

Thinning Medium looks like a clear Genesis paint but it is much, much more. It is hard to get a
semi-transparent lip colour using odourless thinner because it pools and puddles in lip lines and the
crevices of the mouth. Thinning Medium makes your lip colour spread out nicely and gives your
baby's lips that translucent life-like look that everyone expects from your work.
Thinning Medium also helps you make delicate hair-like eyebrows quicker than ever as it thins
the paint without making it runny. Perfect to use in conjunction with Thick Medium!
Thinning Medium will not water down the paint - it just makes it easier to use and spread - giving
you more control over your brush strokes which means more life-like babies.
